A series of four location-based posters uses various algorithms - both
manual and automatic - to drive the identity of “Angles: Cross Perspectives
in Design,” an imagined lecture series.
Each letter of the alphabet is represented by a geometric form and used to spell out the series'
featured artist at each location. The circular nature of the geometric forms represents the connectivity
of the Earth's time zones, and the order of the alphabet is used as a variable to create distinct characteristics.
The time zone in which the lecture takes place determines the placement of the letters on each poster.
The geometric forms demonstrate the lecture series' exploration of the diverse backgrounds within the global design discipline.
